The Maxim is available in six model varieties beginning with the Maxim S twenty-four fader model and culminating in the Maxim XXL, which offers a mighty 120 faders. The Maxim can also be fitted with the PaTPad in which case it has at its disposal an independent moving lights section.
Working with and programming the device is considerably facilitated by the full-text labelling of scenes, chases, stacks and steps. In addition, the Maxim offers an SVGA output to allow the display of additional information.
Data is exchanged via the floppy disk drive. This also allows the archiving of shows and the integration of new fixtures. The Maxim fully supports live intervention in shows, employs palettes and preset functions and also allows direct intervention in running programs in order, for example, to vary the speed.
