The celexon USB-C Cable is compliant with USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 and transmits signals at up to 10 Gbps. It supports USB Power Delivery and the DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The cables can be used bidirectionally, so no attention needs to be paid to the installation direction of the cable.

The DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt-Mode) enables the simultaneous transmission of video signals via the USB-C connection, provided that the connected devices also support this feature. In general, the celexon USB-C cables are backwards compatible with older USB standards. In this case, however, only the transfer rate and power supply offered by the respective USB standard can be used.

Power Delivery (PD) enables power to be transmitted via the USB-C cable. Using the PD protocol and the E-markers (chips) integrated into the connectors, the USB-C cables can charge devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops with up to 100 watts (max. 5A / 20V / 100W with PD or 3A / 5V / 15W without PD). Via the PD protocol, the devices communicate with each other about the voltage and current at which they can ideally be charged. This allows devices with different current and voltage requirements to be charged with the same power supply unit without causing damage to the devices.*

The USB-C cables from celexon are triple-shielded and, thanks to their nickel-plated USB-C connectors and gold-plated contacts, ensure high corrosion resistance and reliable transmission performance.
