2. Access data and hosting

You may visit our website without revealing any personal information. With every visit on the website, the web server stores automatically only a so-called server log file which contains e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the request, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the request.

These access data are analysed exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the website and improving our offer. This is intended for the purpose of safeguarding our legitimate prevailing interests in a balance of interests in a correct representation of our service in accordance with Article 6 Section 1 f) EU GDPR. Third-party hosting services

Data are also processed by a third-party provider that we have engaged to render hosting and website presentation services on our behalf. This intended for the purpose of safeguarding our legitimate prevailing interests in a balance of interests in a correct representation of our service in accordance with Article 6 Section 1 f) EU GDPR in conjunction with Article 28 EU GDPR (on the basis of a commissioned data processing). This provider processes on its servers all data that are collected in the manner specified below when you visit our website or fill in forms made available for this purpose in our online shop. Data are processed on other servers only in the scope described herein. This service provider has its registered office in an EU or EEA member state.

3. Data collection and use for processing the contract and for opening a customer account

We collect personal data that you voluntarily submit to us when you place an order, contact us (e.g. via contact form or by email) or open a customer account with us. Mandatory fields are marked as such because we absolutely need those data to perform the contract or process your contact request or open your customer account, and you would otherwise not be able to complete your order and/or create your customer account or send the contact request. It is evident in each input form what data are collected. We use the data that you disclose to us to perform the contract and process your enquiries.

The data processing relating thereto is based on Article 6 Section 1 b), c), f) EU GDPR. Upon completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, any further processing of your data will be restricted, and your data will be deleted upon expiry of the retention period applicable under relevant regulations, unless you expressly consent to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by law, of which we inform you in this notice. Your customer account can be deleted at any time. For this purpose you can send a message to the contact option specified below (the person responsible or our Data Protection Officer). Your data remains in the customer account until deleted. In the event of a legal obligation, the data is archived and – on the removal of the legal obligation – deleted. Following termination, it is your responsibility to secure your data before the end of the contract.

We process your data for advertising purposes in order, for example, to offer you information on products based on the services you have previously used.

We process data for purposes of the administration of our company, financial accounting and fulfilment of statutory obligations, such as archiving on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 c, f) EU GDPR.

4. Transfer of data

For the purpose of contract performance, we disclose your data to the shipping company in the scope required for the delivery of the ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider you have selected during the ordering process, we disclose the payment details collected for order processing purposes to the bank commissioned to handle the payment and, as the case may be, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. Some of those data are collected by the selected payment service providers themselves if you open an account with them. In such a case, during the ordering process, you must register with your payment service provider using your access data. In this respect, the privacy notice of the relevant payment service provider applies.

We use the services of a payment service provider. This company has its registered office outside the EU. Personal data are disclosed to that company only to the extent required to perform the contract. Furthermore, we disclose your data to third parties solely for the purpose of delivery, payment, pursuance of our claims, or within the framework of legal permissions and obligations vis-á-vis legal advisors and public authorities. For the purposes of business assessments, advertising and market research, we process data on contracts, requests, enquiries etc. inventory data, communication data, contract data, payment data, usage data, metadata on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 f) EU GDPR.

5. E-mail newsletter and postal advertisement

When you register to receive our newsletter, we use the data required (or separately provided by you) for this purpose to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent. We only send newsletters, emails and other electronic notifications with advertising content with the consent of the recipient on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 a) EU GDPR or a legal permission (§7 Section 3 UWG (Unfair Competition Act)). Our newsletters contain information on our services and offers as well as on us.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time – either by a message to the contact opportunity described below, via the unsubscribe function in your customer account or via a link in the newsletter provided for this purpose. On the basis of our legitimate interests, we can store unsubscribed email addresses before deleting them for the purpose of sending the newsletters in order to be able to verify the previously given consent. The processing of this data is limited to a possible defence against claims. Without prejudice to the above, a request for deletion is possible at any time if the previous existence of consent is confirmed at the same time.

The newsletter is sent as part of a processing by a service provider on our behalf, to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose. This service provider has his office in a country belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Postal advertising and your right to opt out

6. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

We have integrated the Trusted Shops Trustbadge on this website in order to display our Trusted Shops Quality Seal and offer the Trusted Shops products to customers after placing a purchase order.

Those access data are not analysed and are automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your website visit. Other personal data are transferred to Trusted Shops only if you decide to use or have already registered to use Trusted Shops products after placing an order. In such a case, the contract concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies.

Facebook analytics As part of the Facebook Business Tools, statistics on visitor activity on our website are created from the data collected with the Facebook Pixel about your use of our website. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta). Their analysis serves to optimize the presentation and marketing of our website.

Facebook Ads (Ad manager)We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) and on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of the ads with individual users. TikTok Pixel 1. We use TikTok Ads with the additional application "TikTok Pixel". TikTok Pixel is a code that is installed on our profile and then forwards events from website visitors to us. With TikTok Pixel we can check the success of our advertising campaigns. When the ad is loaded, we can use a technical process to determine how a user interacts after clicking on the ad and whether one of our services is actually used. This provides us with statistical information about the total number of times our ads are viewed, which ads are particularly popular and which events were triggered. 11. Your rights and our Data Protection Officer
