MP3 players: The perfect summary

In contrast to a DVD, which is read using a red light beam, Blu Ray is scanned with a blue laser beam. Blue light has a shorter wavelength than red light. As a result, the lines (or tracks) on a Blu Ray are arranged closer together than on a DVD, and the disk can hold larger data files.
