What types of lighting equipment are available in the LTT sale section?

The LTT lighting sale includes professional stage and event lighting equipment such as LED PAR cans with RGB, RGBA or RGBW colour mixing, moving head spots and wash fixtures, effect lights including strobes and UV fixtures, atmospheric lighting, and complete lighting systems. You will also find illuminants, spotlights for theatre and stage use, and lighting control equipment. All items are demo units, customer returns or overstock from leading manufacturers like Eurolite, Cameo, Showtec and beamZ. Every product is tested and meets professional quality standards, with price reductions typically ranging from 15% to 70% off regular retail prices.

Are sale lighting products covered by warranty?

Yes, all lighting equipment purchased from the LTT sale section is covered by our standard warranty. Demo units, customer returns and overstock items receive the same warranty protection as full-price products. LTT offers a 3-year warranty on most lighting equipment, significantly exceeding the statutory minimum. Any cosmetic imperfections or product-specific conditions are clearly documented in the individual product description. If you encounter any technical issues, our customer service team provides full support, and defective items are repaired or replaced according to warranty terms. This warranty coverage ensures you can purchase sale items with confidence.

How often does LTT add new items to the lighting sale?

New items are added to the LTT lighting sale on an ongoing basis as demo units return from trade shows, customer returns are processed, and manufacturers discontinue specific models. There is no fixed schedule, so inventory changes continuously. The best approach is to check the sale section regularly or subscribe to the LTT newsletter to receive notifications about new clearance items and special offers. Popular items such as LED PAR cans and moving heads often sell quickly, particularly during peak event seasons in spring and autumn. If you find equipment that meets your requirements at a favourable price, prompt purchasing is advisable.

Can I use sale lighting equipment for permanent installations?

Absolutely. Sale lighting equipment from LTT is identical in quality and functionality to full-price inventory and is fully suitable for permanent installations. LED fixtures, moving heads and effect lights in the clearance section meet the same professional standards, including DMX compatibility, robust construction and appropriate IP ratings for the intended environment. Many churches, conference centres, clubs and entertainment venues have equipped their permanent lighting systems with sale items, achieving significant cost savings without compromising performance. For outdoor installations, ensure the fixtures carry appropriate IP65 or IP67 ratings. For indoor installations, standard IP20-rated fixtures are sufficient.

What is the difference between demo units and customer returns?

Demo units are fixtures that have been used by LTT for product demonstrations, trade show displays or showroom exhibitions. They are fully functional and have been handled carefully, though they may show minor cosmetic wear such as slight scratches or handling marks. Customer returns are products that were purchased and returned within the statutory 14-day return period. Many customer returns are unopened or minimally used, and some are indistinguishable from new items. Both categories are thoroughly inspected and tested before being offered in the sale section. Any significant cosmetic or functional issues are documented in the product description, ensuring complete transparency.

Do sale lighting fixtures include all necessary cables and accessories?

Sale lighting fixtures typically include the same accessories as full-price products – usually a power cable and user manual. However, DMX cables, clamps, safety cables and other rigging accessories are generally sold separately. This allows you to purchase exactly the components you need for your specific setup. The LTT sale section includes cables and connectors and accessories at reduced prices, enabling you to build a complete system from clearance inventory. Always check the individual product description for a detailed list of included items. If you are unsure what accessories you need, our technical team can provide guidance.

What should I look for when buying moving heads from the sale section?

When purchasing moving heads from the LTT sale, evaluate the light source type (LED or discharge lamp), beam characteristics (spot, beam or wash), DMX channel count (more channels provide finer control), gobo and prism options, pan and tilt range (typically 540° pan and 270° tilt), and power consumption. Check whether the fixture includes a flight case or requires separate transport protection. Verify that the DMX mode matches your controller's capabilities. LED moving heads offer lower power consumption, longer lamp life and reduced maintenance compared to discharge lamp models, making them preferable for most applications. Price typically correlates with feature set – a basic 60-watt LED spot might cost €180 to €280 in the sale, while a 150-watt model with advanced effects could range from €400 to €600.

Can I return lighting equipment purchased from the sale section?

Yes, the standard LTT return policy applies to sale items. You have 14 days from receipt to return products if they do not meet your requirements. The equipment must be in the same condition as delivered, with all original packaging and accessories. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or was shipped incorrectly. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we process the refund according to our standard terms. This return policy ensures you can purchase from the sale section with confidence, knowing you have the option to return items if they do not suit your application.
