MONACOR STA-1508 Amplifier

The MONACOR STA-1508 is an eight-channel power amplifier designed for fixed installation and public address systems. The amplifier features eight separate amplifier channels with balanced inputs and is designed for applications with multiple speaker zones.

Each channel features switchable high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as an integrated crossover with a cutoff frequency of 240 Hz. The outputs are protected against short circuits, overheating, and DC voltage superposition. Cooling is provided by a fan. A soft-start feature reduces inrush current, and a speaker power-on delay protects the connected systems.

Level adjustment is located on the rear panel and is tamper-proof. For each channel, an LED VU meter and a clip indicator display the operating status. A ground lift switch is available. 8-Ω bridge mode is supported. Connections consist of eight 3-pin XLR jacks (balanced) and eight screw terminals. The amplifier has a height of 3 units.
