Shure VP64A

VP64A and VP64AL are dynamic omnidirectional microphones with high output power used in professional audio and video productions. Both microphones are identical except for their length. While the 200 mm long VP64A is particularly suitable for close-up outdoor and indoor recordings, the VP64AL is preferred for outdoor interviews, sports reporting and other situations where 244 mm length is an advantage. The omnidirectional pickup pattern ensures smooth signal pickup. In addition, the optimized frequency response with a presence boost in the upper mids ensures brilliance and excellent speech intelligibility. The neodymium magnet used in the capsule delivers high output levels with low noise. The capsule's internal rubber suspension protects the microphone and minimizes grip noise. The water-repellent basket allows the microphone to be used in adverse weather conditions, with the included windscreen additionally eliminating pop and wind noise.
