AKG WMS 420 Headworn Set Professional Wireless Microphone System

The WMS420 Headworn Set is perfect for wireless voice transmission in gyms, dance studios, or physical education classes, as well as in small theaters and conference rooms. The WMS420 is extremely easy to use, allowing for quick setup and start-up of the wireless system.
The Headworn Set includes the SR420 receiver, a PT420 pocket transmitter, and the C555 L headband microphone.
The headband microphone is very robust, offers high wearing comfort thanks to the adjustable neckband, and ensures optimum speech intelligibility. The elastic mounting of the capsule effectively suppresses structure-borne noise. The cardioid polar pattern of the C555 L effectively filters out ambient noise. A drip ring prevents sweat from entering the capsule and protects the microphone from moisture.
The SR420 diversity receiver guarantees reliable reception of the audio signal. Two detachable antennas on the rear of the receiver ensure maximum flexibility and allow the use of optional antenna accessories. The reception quality of the two antennas is constantly compared using sophisticated algorithms, and only the strongest radio signal is used. This guarantees optimal RF stability without annoying dropouts.

The PT420 pocket transmitter is particularly small and lightweight. With just one AA battery or NiMH rechargeable battery, it can transmit for up to 8 hours. The input level of the connected microphone can be adjusted directly on the pocket transmitter. Integrated charging contacts allow the transmitter to be charged directly in the optional CU400 charging station, which can conveniently charge and safely store up to two transmitters.
Both the SR420 receiver and the PT420 pocket transmitter operate in a switching bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. Up to 8 channels can be operated simultaneously in the UHF range. The system is also available in registration- and license-free frequency ranges.
