The dBTechnologies ES1203 is a compact active loudspeaker system that can be used very flexibly thanks to its sophisticated design.

Thanks to the integrated 3-channel digital power amplifier with 2400 watts of power, an ES1203 can be used as a classic stereo system with a subwoofer and two satellites. By mechanically connecting the two satellites, it can also be used as a powerful mono system. The third configuration option, with two ES1203 systems, creates a powerful stereo system.
Unique in this class is the extensive input section, which offers easy operation thanks to a high-resolution OLED display, an integrated 3-channel mixer, and a Bluetooth® receiver for audio streaming.

Bluetooth - integrated

For pure playback applications, operation without any additional accessories is even possible with a Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or MP3 player, thanks to the integrated high-quality Bluetooth receiver in the ES1203.

Digital mixer - integrated

Three additional mic/line inputs are available for other sources (keyboard, vocals, instruments), including a digital mix section that can be controlled via the high-quality, easy-to-read OLED display and a rotary push-button encoder. For applications with two ES1203s or for an optional stage monitor, an XLR output is available that can output the mix signal or an aux signal. All input channels can be leveled separately on this output.

OLED display – everything at a glance

The integrated OLED display on the subwoofer is used to select the respective acoustic preset for stereo, mono, and dual mono configurations, which is then provided by the integrated 24-bit/48 kHz DSP. To ensure high operational reliability, even at the limits of its performance, the ES1203 is equipped with active peak and RMS limiters as well as a thermal protection circuit.

digipro Class-D power amplifiers of the latest generation

The ES1203 is equipped with the latest generation of our proprietary Digipro digital amplifiers and has a total output of 2400W/PRG, which is divided into three channels to drive the 12" woofers and the two 8x4" tops in either stereo or mono.

Like all dBTechnologies Digipro power amplifiers, the ES1203 does not require an external fan. This ensures longevity and operational reliability, as the amplifier is protected from dust and dirt, which would otherwise require additional cooling and potentially lead to overheating.

12" subwoofer – lightweight and powerful

The subwoofer is made of 15 mm multiplex wood and features a bass reflex design and two 12" woofers. Despite the integrated power amplifier, it weighs only 29.3 kg and delivers powerful, deep bass down to 35 Hz (-10 dB).

4x 4" top section with neodymium magnets – high resolution and weighing only 3.3 kg

The top sections are each equipped with four 4" neodymium speakers, which feature sophisticated phase plugs and are mechanically offset. Both serve to optimize the mid-high frequency range for high-quality sound reproduction and practical dispersion characteristics. Thanks to their sophisticated plastic housing, the top parts weigh only 3.3 kg. The satellites are connected via Speakon connectors, which are equipped with mounts for 36 mm speaker stands. The ES1203 is supplied with accessories for mono configuration, including a divisible 36 mm spacer bar and a 2 m speaker cable.
A tripod and cable set for stereo use are available as optional extras.
