The LD Systems MAUI 66 G3 is a powerful active 4-way cardioid column PA system designed for professional sound reinforcement applications. With a total output of 3,800 watts peak and 1,900 watts RMS, combined with a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB, this system delivers outstanding performance for DJs, bands, live musicians and professional event companies.

The powerful 18-inch neodymium subwoofer produces deep, punchy bass down to 28 Hz. Combined with 16 × 3.5-inch neodymium midrange drivers and four 1-inch compression drivers, the system delivers balanced sound reproduction with clear vocals, powerful mids and detailed highs. Specially designed waveguides and phase plugs ensure consistent sound distribution over longer distances.

Thanks to its innovative cardioid technology, rearward sound radiation from the column is reduced by up to 18 dB in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 1 kHz. This directs sound towards the audience while minimising unwanted sound behind the system. The wide 120° horizontal and 25° vertical coverage provides even sound distribution across large audience areas.

The integrated second-generation DynX® DSP technology, featuring intelligent peak, RMS and thermal limiters, ensures reliable signal processing and distortion-free audio reproduction even at high volumes. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs allow flexible connection of external audio equipment, while Bluetooth 5.4 enables convenient wireless audio streaming.

For additional bass performance, the system can be expanded with an extra MAUI 66 G3 SUB. Depending on the setup, this allows increased bass output or a cardioid subwoofer configuration to reduce unwanted rearward bass radiation.

The robust birch plywood subwoofer enclosure with durable polyurea coating and sturdy aluminium columns ensure excellent durability for professional applications. Four ergonomic carrying handles and the intelligent connection system make transportation and setup quick and convenient.
