celexon UHD Optical Fibre HDMI 8K 48Gbps Active Cable 70m, black
Delivery time: approx. 1 week
The celexon UHD Optical Fibre HDMI Cable is HDMI 2.1-compliant and transmits signals at up to 48 Gbps with resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320p @60Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth) and 4K (4096x2160p @120Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth). The hybrid fibre optic cable with 4 optical fibres and 8 copper conductors enables interference-free transmission of high data rates even over very long distances. For this purpose, the electrical signal is converted into light pulses in the "Source" connector, which are transmitted via the optical fibres to the "Display" connector, where they are converted back into an electrical signal. It is therefore important to observe the installation direction of the cable.
celexon's cable is very thin with a diameter of 5.5 mm. With a bending radius of max. 30 mm and 10 loops over the entire cable, it offers very high flexibility during installation. The very thin and narrow connector allows the cable to be plugged in even in hard-to-reach places. In addition, no adjacent ports are blocked when this connector is inserted.
With the help of the new dynamic HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, not only can a greater dynamic range and colour gamut be displayed, making the image more brilliant and detailed, but image optimisation is individually adapted to each image, so that even fast colour changes between high contrasts (e.g. image change from white to black) are rendered more naturally. *All components used must support this feature.
The Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is the new generation of ARC and is included in the HDMI 2.1 specification. This extension allows up to 32 audio channels with uncompressed 24-bit/192kHz data streams at up to 38 Mbps to be transmitted. This enormous increase in bandwidth and speed means that all audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X can be transmitted without compression. *All components used must support this feature.
Another feature of this cable is the Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which will be of particular interest to gamers. This reduces delays by removing advanced video processing, thus offering the fastest possible display response. The prerequisite here, in addition to the ALLM-capable television, is that the source devices deliver a high-quality video signal that can be immediately reproduced by the display. This means there should be no perceptible delay between pressing a button on the controller and the response time in the image, enabling an even more direct and precise gaming experience. All connected ALLM-capable devices automatically switch to the appropriate mode with the shortest possible latency via handshake. No additional settings are required even when an AV receiver is connected in between. *All components used must support this feature.
Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is another feature introduced by the HDMI 2.1 specification. Here, the refresh rate of the source device and output device is synchronised to avoid juddering and tearing in the image. The refresh rate can move freely between 30Hz and 144Hz and adapt optimally to reproduce smooth and as sharp as possible images. Without VRR, for example in video games, parts of the image can overlap and multiple sections of the image build up one after another (screen tearing). The only alternative to avoid these artefacts without VRR would be to completely throttle the frame rate or set a lower resolution, which would severely compromise image quality. *All components used must support this feature.
The additional Ethernet channel allows internet-capable AV components to be connected to the home network using only an HDMI cable. It is therefore sufficient for the television to be connected to the network via cable. The AV receiver or Blu-ray player then receives the network signal passed through via the HDMI cable in addition to the actual video signal. This eliminates the need for a network switch and additional cables. *All components used must support this feature.
All celexon UHD HDMI fibre optic cables are individually tested for functionality using high-quality measuring equipment. Special attention is paid to the EBR (Error Bit Rate) and only cables with maximum data transmission reach the market.
