The celexon HDMI cable with Ethernet is HDMI 2.0-compliant and transmits signals at up to 18 Gbps with resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160p @60Hz with 8-bit colour depth) and 4K HDR with 10-bit colour depth. HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology enables a greater dynamic range and colour gamut to be displayed, making the image more brilliant and rich in detail.

With the HDMI plug on one side and the HDMI socket on the other, the adapter can be used as a port saver to protect the connectors of sensitive devices, or as a short extension. The additional advantage of the cable adapter over a rigid plug adapter is that the device sockets are subjected to less stress.

The additional Ethernet channel allows internet-enabled AV components to be connected to the home network via HDMI cable alone. It is therefore sufficient for the television to be connected to the network by cable. The AV receiver or Blu-ray player then receives not only the actual video signal, but also the network signal passed through via the HDMI cable. This eliminates the need for a network switch and additional cables.*
