Where once microphones and loudspeakers had to be switched or even rewired by hand, today flexible routing options via presets and automatable switching processes are expected. The ZONE X 1212 DSP matrix processor from LD Systems offers all this and more.
Thanks to its DSP hybrid architecture, the ZONE X 1212 allows you to customize your sound system for different situations and uses. Choose from a variety of DSP templates and use the event scheduler to set up calendar-driven workflows with automated preset changes. Draw from an abundance: twelve balanced mic/line inputs with low-noise microphone preamplifiers and separately switchable 48V phantom power, as well as twelve balanced line outputs, are at your disposal. In addition, there are eight GPI and GPO logic ports that you can use, for example, for automated switching processes and the integration of third-party devices.
The front panel with only 1 RU appears very tidy. The ZONE X 1212 is conveniently set up and managed via Ethernet with the Xilica Designer software (Mac/Windows), which clearly displays all connections and settings. For audio-over-IP applications, an Ethernet+Dante card with 64 x 64 channels can be installed. The Dante standard opens up a whole world of compatible devices from a wide range of manufacturers for all conceivable applications.
From switching and processing various microphones and speaker groups, such as in a church, to complex multi-room installations with calendar-controlled routing for different configurations – the ZONE X 1212 makes everything possible.
