DAP-Audio DRX-12 - 12-inch passive full-range speaker 300 watt - on-the-road

The DAP DRX is a series of lightweight road top/sub speaker combinations available in both passive and active models, suitable for mobile DJs at small to medium sized venues. The speakers have a compact and lightweight design with a nice modern finish. The sound quality is decent with a wide full-range frequency range.

The DRX series consists of 8 to 15 inch top cabinets and 10 to 18 inch subwoofers. The passive models are incredibly lightweight, are equipped with speaker input and through connector and are suitable in combination with DAP HP amplifiers. The active models are equipped with a class AB amplifier with XLR/Jack input, volume control and on/off switch.

DRX cabinets are equipped with handles for quick and easy transport. In addition, a 35 mm pole mount adapter allows the speaker to be placed on top of a speaker or distance tube. The DAP DRX-12 is a passive 12-inch speaker with a maximum power of 300 watt. This is the second biggest model from the DAP Audio Mobile Road Series. It is a 2-way system that can deliver a maximum SPL of 120.3 dB at 1 m distance. This is sufficient for playing music in small to medium sized halls. You can use the DRX-12 as a top cabinet in combination with the DRX-15B subwoofer for an enhanced bass capacity.

The DRX-12 weighs only 14.5 kg and is made of 15 mm thick MDF with a scratch-resistant black finish to survive the rigours of frequent touring. It also has a modern design and is easy to keep clean due to its removable metal grill.

DRX speakers are not only robustly built, but also very handy thanks to the 35 mm pole mount adapter, built-in handle and 4-pin speaker input and output (through) connector.
