Portable sine wave dimmer

The XSD-S3 is a portable, RDM-enabled sine wave dimmer. Swisson's sine wave dimming technology offers many advantages over conventional dimmers. Since the sine waveform of the AC voltage is always maintained, there is no lamp flicker or electrical interference that could interfere with other devices. Output voltage and current are regulated, ensuring a stable and reliable supply to a wide range of loads. In addition, fluctuations in the supply are compensated for and short circuits at the load are detected at an early stage. The XSD-S3 can be controlled via DMX with 8- or 16-bit resolution, via analog 0-10V signal, or manually with the encoder. DMX and device-specific settings can be changed via RDM or directly on the device. The comprehensive yet clear menu can also display detailed sensor information and facilitates troubleshooting with simple notifications if something goes wrong. Thanks to its compact size and quiet operation, the XSD-S3 is the ideal solution for all applications, whether in theaters, studios, or building lighting.
