The Daslight Light Rider LR512 3rd Generation is a modern DMX interface for controlling professional light shows via an app. It is operated directly through the Light Rider app for iPad and Android, allowing colors, movements, dimmers, and effects to be adjusted intuitively. Instead of a traditional lighting console, all you need is a tablet or smartphone to control the lighting system.

The interface provides 512 DMX channels for live operation and an additional 512 channels for standalone operation, and can be expanded to up to 1,024 channels if needed. Communication is wireless via Wi-Fi Direct in access point mode, as well as via 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi 6 in the 5-GHz band ensures particularly stable wireless connections. The integrated 14 MB flash memory allows you to save custom scenes for standalone operation.

The Daslight Light Rider LR512 supports third-generation ESA software for Mac and Windows, as well as SUT technology for license upgrades and additional software. The device library includes approximately 20,000 device profiles. The rugged steel housing is suitable for both portable use and permanent installations. The housing measures 112 × 87 × 46 mm and weighs approximately 182 g. LED status indicators provide information on operating and registration status. Power is supplied via USB-C; the appropriate USB-C cable is included.
