The TourSpot Hornet from Expolite is equipped with a 350 W LED engine and an electronic zoom ranging from 5° to 35°, including a frost filter. Weighing just 25 kg, this moving head is one of the lightest in its performance class. The head and base are elegantly designed, and the interior is efficiently equipped. This consists of a CMY color mixing system and a color wheel with 17 colors arranged side by side plus white.
Two gobo wheels – one with seven rotatable gobos, the other with eleven fixed gobos – and a 5-facet prism open up a wide range of creative lighting effects. The Hornet also impresses with its virtually silent fan and excellent projection ratio. In addition to the usual connections, this innovative spotlight also offers an ArtNet port and is RDM-compatible. Thanks to its elegant design, the Hornet is extremely versatile in live entertainment applications, such as large-scale stage lighting, effect lighting, or gobo projections.
It is used in theaters, musicals, concerts, clubs, and discotheques, among other places.
