The Allen & Heath Qu-5 is a compact and powerful digital mixing console with 96 kHz XCVI processing for live sound, event production, bands, theater, conferences, fixed installations, and recording. The new generation of the Qu series combines an intuitive user interface with professional signal processing, flexible routing options, and extensive recording capabilities.

With 38 inputs, 16 XLR/jack combo inputs, 17 motorized 100-mm faders, and a capacitive 7-inch touchscreen, the Qu-5 offers a fast and intuitive workflow. Four freely configurable fader layers allow the user interface to be customized for different applications.

96 kHz XCVI Core and Professional Processing

At the heart of the Allen & Heath Qu-5 is the powerful 96 kHz XCVI engine. Updated microphone preamps and high-quality 96 kHz AD/DA converters ensure detailed and precise signal processing. Additionally, the mixer is DEEP Processing Ready, enabling the use of optional processing and effects expansions.

Six multi-FX engines with separate stereo returns are available for effects. The built-in Gain Assistant helps you quickly set appropriate input levels, while the Feedback Assistant automatically detects problematic frequencies and processes them with up to 16 filters per output.

Flexible Mix Architecture

The Qu-5 offers a comprehensive mix architecture with 32 mono/linkable inputs and 3 stereo inputs. It also features 12 mixes, 4 mono/linkable matrix channels, and a stereo main LR output. This allows the digital mixing console to be flexibly configured for monitor channels, groups, sound zones, and more complex live setups.

USB-C and SD Card Multitrack Recording

For professional recordings, the Allen & Heath Qu-5 features a built-in 32x32 USB-C audio interface. In addition, the SD card slot enables multitrack recording and playback with up to 16x16 channels at 96 kHz or 32x32 channels at 48 kHz. Stereo recording, playback, and data transfers can be performed via USB-A.

SLink for Flexible I/O Expansion

Via the built-in 128x128 SLink port, the Qu-5 can be connected to compatible Allen & Heath Everything-I/O stage boxes and rack expanders. This allows the system to be flexibly expanded and integrated into larger Allen & Heath setups.
