The Pioneer DJ DJM-250MK2 is a 2-channel effects mixer designed for DJ use and serves as the entry-level model in Pioneer DJ’s DJM series. The mixer is equipped with the Magvel crossfader and the Sound Color FX filter, both of which are derived from the flagship DJM-900NXS2 mixer.

The Magvel crossfader operates with precision and smoothness and is designed to withstand over 10 million cycles. The channel faders enable fluid and seamless mixing. The 3-band isolators allow the selected frequency range—treble, midrange, and bass—to be completely eliminated by turning the respective control counterclockwise. Each channel features its own filter from the Sound Color FX, which can be engaged via the channel fader and whose resonance can be adjusted using the parameter fader.

The DJM-250MK2 features a built-in sound card and can be connected to a PC or Mac via a single USB cable. The mixer’s dithering technology ensures a warm, high-quality sound from both analog and digital sources. Included in the package are license keys for the rekordbox dj and rekordbox dvs software, which allow digital music files to be played from a computer via the Pioneer DJ Multi-Player. Control vinyl, sold separately, is required for use with rekordbox dvs.
