Light chains are a delight to watch - and not just during the (pre-)Christmas season: they are used for many different occasions because they quickly conjure up warm lighting that creates a beautiful atmosphere. You don't always need full lighting: LED light chains or even light tubes or nets can also be a source of subtle, cosy, dim lighting that only lights up the immediate surroundings. At the same time, the LEDs used require only a fraction of the energy that conventional incandescent bulbs would consume. But light chains & nets with LED technology have even more to offer: they come in lots of great colours and they don't get hot. They can therefore be used at all places where they come into contact with fine fabrics or even plants. Besides, LED light chains are very durable and thus make the purchase even more worthwhile for you.

Light chains for indoors and outdoors

Our wide range of LED light chains includes many products suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Information regarding this is provided by the IP protection class. Our IP20 light chains are only suitable for indoor use since they are not resistant to moisture. However, if you want to create an atmospheric lighting in your garden or balcony or even for a large event, our IP44 light chains are just right, for example the belt lights that are ideal for lighting at festivals, outdoors, for the Christmas season and for countless other applications. This protection class means that the light chains are protected against foreign bodies > 1 mm and against water splashed from all directions. However, you should always additionally ensure that the mains adapter or any extension cable used also has IP44 protection or higher.
