The Pioneer DJ DJM-S3 + Pioneer DDJ-SP1 Bundle consists of a 2-channel mixer with a built-in sound card and a separate performance controller for Serato DJ. Thanks to the built-in sound card, the DJM-S3 is ready to go with Serato DJ right out of the box. The mixer can be connected to a Mac or PC via a single USB cable to mix and scratch digital files, either using turntables with Serato DVS Control Vinyl or compatible media players.
The DJM-S3 features the Magvel crossfader, adopted from the Pioneer DJ DJM-900NXS2. It responds precisely and cleanly and is designed to withstand more than 10 million crossfades. The scratch-friendly layout of the controls provides room for creative performances and is built to withstand heavy use. The filter knob on each channel allows you to create unique sound textures, while the corresponding parameter knob controls the resonance. When connected to the Pioneer DDJ-SP1 controller, large performance pads are also available for precise control of Serato DJ features, including FX.
Sound quality is ensured by sound dithering, which faithfully reproduces tracks from both digital and analog sources. The mixer features two channels with 3-band EQ/ISO, Sound Color FX in the form of a filter, and inputs and outputs for line, phono, and microphone sources. Included in the package are a power cord, power adapter, USB cable, and a quick-start user manual.
