Chord Cruiser mode: compose unique chord progressions with ease

At the heart of CHORDCAT is the exclusive Chord Cruiser mode. This innovative algorithm suggests seamless and musically compatible chord transitions in real time. With access to over 110,000 possible chord combinations and 18 preset "chord sets" (inspired by genres such as house and future bass), you can instantly boost your creativity and compose complex progressions with ease. Scale and key settings ensure that every note and chord fits harmoniously – perfect for beginners and pros alike.

Versatile sound engine and powerful sequencer

The CHORDCAT offers a comprehensive musical toolbox:

• 8-track sequencer: Create detailed tracks with up to 16 patterns per track and 128 steps (8 bars) per pattern. Each track can be edited individually and assigned its own sounds.
• 145 instrument presets & 16 drum kits: A wide range of sounds for a variety of genres, which can also be customized with low-pass filters and amp envelopes.
• 3 integrated effects: Manipulate sounds intuitively via an XY pad with arpeggiator (creates melodies from chords), delay (adds depth), and ducker (for sidechain-like dynamics).
• "Running Direction" function: Change the playback direction of the sequencer patterns (right, down, clockwise, counterclockwise) at the touch of a button to discover new rhythmic variations.

Connectivity and mobility for unlimited creativity

The CHORDCAT is designed for mobility and can be powered via USB-C or six AA batteries (approx. 5 hours of runtime with alkaline batteries). With MIDI IN/OUT/THRU and USB-C connections, it integrates seamlessly with external synthesizers or DAW software (e.g., Ableton Live Lite, whose license is included free with every registration). The "Chordcat Manager" software also allows for easy pattern transfer between hardware and computer.
