AlphaTheta SLAB – MIDI Pad Controller for Serato Studio
The AlphaTheta SLAB is a MIDI pad controller for beat production, sampling, and performance. It was specifically designed for direct control of Serato Studio, Serato Sample, and Serato DJ Pro, offering a hardware-oriented workflow without the need for complex MIDI mapping. As soon as the SLAB is connected to Serato Studio, the full version of Serato Studio is automatically activated.
The large, responsive performance pads support velocity and customizable aftertouch. Pad, Pad FX, Trigger, and Step Sequencer modes can be controlled directly via the hardware. The control scheme is complemented by encoder modes for EQ, stems, FX, and parameters, as well as touch strips for direct control of filter, pitch, effect level, and swing.
SLAB can also be used as a universal MIDI pad controller. In MIDI mode, for example, it can be configured with Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, and other MIDI-Learn-compatible software. Connection and power are provided via USB-C.
