The Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 is a powerful standalone DJ sampler designed for creative live performances, custom loops, and unique sound sequences. With its DJ-friendly control layout, the sampler integrates intuitively into existing CDJ and XDJ setups and can be used both during preparation and during a live set.

Thanks to its 7-inch full-color touchscreen, 16 multicolored step input buttons, velocity-sensitive performance pads, and extensive connectivity options, the DJS-1000 offers numerous tools for spontaneous remixes, custom grooves, and live sampling. Samples can be recorded directly, automatically synchronized, and immediately incorporated into a live performance.

Intuitive 16-Step Sequencer

The 16 large, multi-color backlit step input buttons let you quickly create your own grooves, rhythms, and sequences. The different backlight colors clearly display the respective sequence information, so you can keep track of individual steps and tracks at all times, even during a live performance.

Velocity-Sensitive Performance Pads

The large rubber performance pads can be assigned up to 16 samples. Sounds can then be played, combined, and layered in real time directly with your fingers.

Multicolored LEDs indicate which samples are currently active. In Velocity Mode, a sample’s volume responds to the force of your finger’s pressure, enabling a particularly dynamic and expressive playing experience.

Creative Touch Strip

The built-in touch strip expands the creative possibilities of the Pioneer DJ DJS-1000. With the pitch-bend function, the pitch of a sample can be altered simply by touching the strip.

The Note Repeat function lets you create rapid note repeats and drum rolls. The associated parameters can be customized to precisely tailor effects and transitions to your DJ set.

7-inch Full-Color Touchscreen

The 7-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct access to the sampler’s three main control interfaces. All key functions and information are clearly displayed.

Precise synchronization with Pro DJ Link

Using Pro DJ Link, the DJS-1000 can be synchronized with compatible CDJ and XDJ setups. The Beat Sync function adjusts the tempo and beat position to match the connected DJ system.

In addition, tempo and beat position can be adjusted manually using the tempo slider and the nudge button. The controls are modeled after those of a classic turntable and allow for precise adjustments during a live set.

Live Sampling for Spontaneous Remixes

With the live sampling function, external sounds can be recorded directly and used immediately as individual tracks. The recorded samples are automatically synchronized with the currently playing sequence.

The sounds can then be played back as a loop, triggered via the performance pads, or integrated directly into a live remix. This makes the Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 ideal for spontaneous performances and creative DJ sets.
