AlphaTheta DJM-V5 – 3-Channel DJ Mixer with 4-Band EQ and Send FX

The AlphaTheta DJM-V5 is a 3-channel DJ mixer with a compact design and controls modeled after the professional DJM models. Each channel features a 4-band EQ, adopted from the DJM-V10, which allows for precise adjustment of various frequency ranges.

Channel control is handled by 60-mm long-throw faders, whose design is derived from the DJM-V10-LF. In combination with the Soft Mix Curve, high frequencies are gently attenuated when a channel fader is raised, promoting smooth and natural transitions between tracks.

Six Send FX are available for creative effects processing: Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, Ping Pong, and Echo-Verb. Each channel has its own Send control. Additionally, the DJM-V5 offers three filter types: Low-Pass, High-Pass, and Cross-Pass. The Cross-Pass filter processes mid and high frequencies, while the low-frequency range remains largely intact.

The built-in SonicLink transmitter enables wireless monitoring with very low latency when paired with compatible devices. Pairing can be done with the push of a button or via NFC. Additionally, the mixer supports PRO DJ LINK and can be connected to compatible CDJ players and rekordbox. Link Cue allows you to preview tracks and track sections without having to load them first.

Via USB-C, the DJM-V5 can be integrated into various software and device setups. Supported applications include djay Pro, rekordbox for Mac and Windows, and Serato DJ Pro, including DVS setups. The MULTI-I/O-capable USB-C port also supports connection to iPhone and iPad, as well as compatible apps and external effects units.

The entire signal path, including the analog circuitry, has been tuned for a warm, high-resolution sound. 32-bit A/D and D/A converters operating at a sampling rate of 96 kHz are used for signal conversion. This high-quality conversion is utilized for the Master, Booth, Send, and REC outputs, as well as for the return signal path.
